The Rise of AI Art: Midjourney's Impact on the Artistic Landscape

Artificial intelligence is revolutionising the art world, and Midjourney is leading the charge. This AI tool empowers individuals to transform their imagination into tangible creations, breaking down barriers and democratising artistic potential. In Asia, AI and AGI technologies are rapidly gaining traction, and Midjourney is no exception.

Monetising AI Art: A Step-by-Step Guide with Print on Demand

While selling AI-generated art directly may not be the most profitable approach, print-on-demand (POD) services offer a lucrative alternative. POD platforms, such as Printify and Etsy, allow users to monetise their Midjourney creations without the need for inventory management or upfront costs.

Step #1: Find Your Niche and Conquer the Market

Choosing the right niche is crucial for success in the POD world. Clothing is a popular and profitable option, with printed t-shirts being a perennial favourite. By focusing on a specific niche, you can maximise your chances of success in the competitive Asian market.

Remember, a focused shop is a thriving shop. Clothing, despite fierce competition, is a safe bet. Everyone needs clothes, and printed tees remain a popular choice. Stickers might offer higher sales volume, but their profit margin is significantly lower.

Step #2: Automate Your Creative Process with ChatGPT

Generating endless Midjourney prompts can be exhausting. Enter ChatGPT, an AI-powered tool that can help automate the creative process. the idea of "automating the creative process" with ChatGPT to generate Midjourney prompts is interesting but in practice, you still need a human to curate and refine. It's not a set-it-and-forget-it type of automation if you want quality output. you'll spend more time fixing bad prompts than if you just brainstormed yourself.

it's interesting how this suggests clothing is a "safe bet" for POD in Asia. I wonder if that really holds up in markets like Malaysia, where so many local brands are already doing custom t-shirts. The competition for AI-generated designs would be pretty intense, no? just came across this.
