Taming the Chat Chaos in Asia

Artificial intelligence (AI) assistants are becoming an integral part of our daily lives. Among these, ChatGPT, the popular chatbot, has gained a significant following across Asia. However, with its increased usage comes a growing clutter of chat threads. To tackle this digital disarray, OpenAI has introduced the highly anticipated archive feature.

A Clutter-Free AI Experience

Say goodbye to deleting valuable conversations! Whether you’re exploring Mandarin poetry or brainstorming your next startup idea with ChatGPT, the archive feature allows you to tidy up your chats without losing them. This article will guide you through using this handy new tool on both web and mobile platforms.

Archiving Chats on Web

To archive a chat on the web:

  1. Head to your conversations list and click the chat you want to archive.
  2. Find the three-dot menu (hamburger icon) and click to reveal options.
  3. Select “Archive chat” from the list.

Your chat will vanish from your sidebar and be safely stored in your archive. To access your archived chats, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then go to Settings > Manage and Archived chats.
