The "summarise key points" prompt is interesting. We've been using Qwen-VL for similar tasks, especially with multimodal reports where figures need interpretation. Just yesterday I was discussing whether a text-only LLM can truly capture critical nuances without visual context in a summary. This article makes me think more about prompt engineering for that.

It's good to see practical applications for ChatGPT like this. I've been playing around with it for internal reports at our logistics startup here in Bangkok, especially for summarizing daily route optimization results. The "Summarise Key Points" prompt could actually help a lot with generating quick overviews for our ops managers who don't have time to dig into a full data analysis report every day. I'm always looking for ways to streamline communication, and this seems like low-hanging fruit. I'm going to try feeding it some of our raw telemetry data summaries and see what comes out.

Using ChatGPT to draft outlines like "Draft an outline for a report on [topic]" is neat for quick docs. But for us in devops, that outline usually includes a lot of technical specs or deployment steps. I wonder if the LLM can also spit out a basic architecture diagram alongside the text, that would save so much time in documentation. Cost to run those prompts for every release report adds up though.

prompt engineering for reports is useful but we need to consider how this fits into broader AI policy. for example, korea's national AI strategy emphasizes human-centered AI. relying on prompts for "strong introduction" or "executive summary" might undermine critical human oversight in high-stakes reporting, especially in areas like financial disclosures or public health. comparison with how other APAC nations are balancing AI efficiency with human accountability here would be interesting.
