Always appreciate Dario's perspective but sometimes it feels like he's stating the obvious. Of course companies with that much reach and data have the potential for misuse. Didn't we talk about this exact risk when you guys covered the big data privacy article back in March? I remember reading about how even seemingly innocuous data collection could be weaponized. "Brainwashing users on a massive scale" through chatbots is a strong phrase, but is it really so far-fetched given what we already know about targeted advertising and social media algorithms? It just feels like a logical extension of existing problems, not entirely a new tier of risk exclusive to AI companies themselves.
