Hundreds of AI-Generated Videos Target Singapore PM in Major Disinformation Campaign

An investigation by Singapore's CNA has uncovered nearly 300 AI-generated Chinese-language YouTube videos targeting Prime Minister Lawrence Wong as part of what researchers describe as one of the largest coordinated disinformation campaigns ever aimed at Singapore. Seven in ten videos fabricate narratives about Wong's leadership being under threat or spread conspiracy theories about political infighting. The videos, uploaded by more than 30 channels, have accumulated millions of views since surfacing late last year.
